I started press training before I even had a solid handstand. Why? Because I knew it would take time to learn, so I thought, why not start now alongside my handstand training? What I didn’t realize was how much this simple wall drill would strengthen all the skills I needed for straight handstands: ✨ Compression strength for better control. ✨ Scapular protraction for stronger balance. ✨ Comfort balancing while looking behind my wrists. Guys, this drill is gold. Work on negatives, or try going up the wall. Can’t press up the wall yet? No worries—stand on some mats and slowly lower down to build strength.
