Alright, the moment has arrivedāitās time to clean the 9ft Victorian Pier Mirror thatās been hidden away in a barn for over 60 years! Iāve been waiting for this moment ever since I drove all the way to Bridgewater, Virginia, and snagged this massive piece for a steal. (Did I mention I also walked away with 2 additional mirrors and 2 chandeliers? š
) Now, the cleaning processā¦ I grabbed some water, dish soap, and KrudKutter to give it a proper shineābut, oops, KrudKutter wasnāt the best choice. It started peeling off the gilding, though it worked wonders on the mirror itself. Live and learn, right?
