Then vs. Now šŸŒŸ For those of you who donā€™t know, Iā€™m a full-time recipe developer and content creator, which means Iā€™m around food all the time. Back in 2021, I had zero balance. Iā€™d go months without weighing in on my Weight Watchers app or tracking a single thing. Sometimes Iā€™d track for three days and give up entirely. Then, in November 2021, I decided enough was enough. But, of course, I waited until December 26, 2021, to startā€”classic me, haha! Since that day, Iā€™ve tracked every.single.day. Thatā€™s 1,125 days straight. šŸ™Œ Some days, like when Iā€™m traveling, Iā€™d go negative 80 points (yes, 80!), but I remind myselfā€”itā€™s just data. It doesnā€™t define me. Now, if I want pizza for dinner, I balance the other meals to make it work. If Iā€™m having brunch with friends, I save my weeklies, enjoy the meal, and move on. My approach to food is about flexibility and balanceā€”not perfection. My exercise? Nothing fancyā€”mostly walking (thanks to Todd, my dog šŸ¾), swimming in the summer, and strength training twice a week with a personal trainer. Iā€™m down 40 pounds, feeling stronger than ever, and will be 57 soon. šŸŽ‰ The biggest lesson Iā€™ve learned? You have the power to changeā€”you just have to believe in yourself. p.s.
