Then vs. Now š For those of you who donāt know, Iām a full-time recipe developer and content creator, which means Iām around food all the time. Back in 2021, I had zero balance. Iād go months without weighing in on my Weight Watchers app or tracking a single thing. Sometimes Iād track for three days and give up entirely. Then, in November 2021, I decided enough was enough. But, of course, I waited until December 26, 2021, to startāclassic me, haha! Since that day, Iāve tracked every.single.day. Thatās 1,125 days straight. š Some days, like when Iām traveling, Iād go negative 80 points (yes, 80!), but I remind myselfāitās just data. It doesnāt define me. Now, if I want pizza for dinner, I balance the other meals to make it work. If Iām having brunch with friends, I save my weeklies, enjoy the meal, and move on. My approach to food is about flexibility and balanceānot perfection. My exercise? Nothing fancyāmostly walking (thanks to Todd, my dog š¾), swimming in the summer, and strength training twice a week with a personal trainer. Iām down 40 pounds, feeling stronger than ever, and will be 57 soon. š The biggest lesson Iāve learned? You have the power to changeāyou just have to believe in yourself. p.s.
