This is the story of Sree Siva Prabhakar ji, but don’t be in a hurry to either accept or reject what you read. In 1263, a child was born in Akavoor Mana. But this was no ordinary child. At the tender age of nine, something mysterious happened. Lord Siva himself, or so the story goes, appeared as a Goswami and led this young one into the depths of the Himalayas. Now, you may ask, “how can this be true?” But I say to you, don’t be in such a hurry to believe or disbelieve. The truth is far more subtle than your logical mind can grasp. This being reportedly lived for 723 years; yes 723. In this materialistic age, your mind immediately says “Impossible!” But I to be honest, impossibility is just a limitation of your mind. They say he knew the secret of ‘Kalpam’ – a preparation that made the body indestructible. People witnessed him flying, becoming invisible, levitating in padmasana. Some saw him bathing in boiling water, others watched him playing with poisonous snakes as if they were mere rope. He could read thoughts, transform metals into gold, predict the future. But the most beautiful phenomenon, and I call it a phenomenon rather than a miracle, was his final disappearance. On April 6, 1986, on Pullipara Hill in Omalloor, Kerala, he simply dissolved into light. Not died, dissolved. The newspapers reported this extraordinary event.
