Will Arrow have surgery? We get this question asked a lot, and the answer remains the same. Arrow will not be having surgery unless his team of veterinarians decide it’s necessary. He can eat, drink, play, catch/fetch, and do most of the “normal” things other dogs can do. His maxillofacial specialist at UC Davis gave us the option in placing a 3D printed jaw but it would mostly be for cosmetic purposes rather than a functional one and we love Arrow the way he is. We don’t feel the need to put him through ANOTHER surgery for him to look normal. He has gone through enough pain and as long as he is happy, healthy, and loved we don’t mind the drool, mess, and slobbery kisses. Now his gas/farts on the other hand…… And a quick reminder that any threats, vulgar comments/DM’s will be blocked. No need for hatred as there’s enough of that already. Mama loves her block button.

Replying to @Abby Not a dumb question. It was trial and error. Some days he wants me to hand feed him. Most days he just jumps right in and gobbles it all up. Everyday there is drool and kibble everywhere. We wouldn’t want it any other way. We have tried soft food but its more of a mess than anything.
