A. Mohamed to rebuild home for Unity ECD special-needs family About six months ago, the dilapidated home of 50-year-old Gangawattie Ishun from Unity Village, ECD, collapsed with her and her six children inside. Since then, the family has been living with relatives in Unity, ECD, who have been providing for their basic needs, including shelter, food, and clothing. Four of the children are mentally unstable and require special care. As such, Ishun is unable to work. Her husband passed away several years ago, and she has been raising the children on her own. After the tragedy in September, efforts to rebuild the house were made, but due to financial constraints and other challenges, nothing was done. However, Ishun's sister, Neranie Sanichar, reached out to businessman Mr. A. Mohamed, who was informed of their situation. In response, Mr. Mohamed visited the family today and pledged to rebuild their home. A team will be mobilized to begin construction as soon as possible.
