Cake Ingredients: - 2 cups AP flour - 1 cup powdered sugar - 1 pinch of salt - 2 tbs. baking powder - 1/2 cup cold sweet cream butter - 1/2 cup milk - 1 tsp vanilla - 1 egg - 2 oz. amaretto Whipped Cream Ingredients: - 1/2 cup powdered sugar - 3/4 cup heavy cream - 2 oz. Baileys On the side: - 1 cup finely chopped strawberries Steps: 1. Sift dry ingredients then whisk in a bowl 2. Add cold butter chunks and mix in using a hand mixerIn a separate bowl, combine wet ingredients 3. Once wet ingredients are combined, fold into dry then pour into a greased & lined cake pan 4. Bake for 12 minutes at 400F, then allow to cool for 10 minutes out side of the oven 5. While that cools, combine whipped cream ingredients in a cold bowl. Make sure heavy cream is cold 6. Beat with a hand mixer until fluffy with stiff peaks, then scoop into a piping bag 7. After cake has cooled, cut into small crumbly squares. It's okay if it breaks! Just needs to be small pieces 8. Now, for the layer process, add a small scoop of cake crumbles in the mini dessert cups, then the whipped cream, then the strawberries. Repeat until full then close with the lid. 9. Store in the fridge until serving and enjoy!
