A post by @crazykoreancooking on TikTok caption: When we were passing by the ice cream vendor in Ephesus, Turkey, no one was getting ice cream. So dad had no idea what he was getting into. He was very happy about the idea of getting ice cream as usual. He doesn’t get angry very easily but he was deeply annoyed by this one. Sorry, dad. 😛

My sister's family was over and we made smoked pork belly with doenjang rub and cherry wood, mom's delicous minari muchim (spicy water parsley salad), spicy soybean sprouts and well fermented kimchi cooked in pork fat along with regular kimchi, perilla leaves, red leaf lettuce leaves, and ssamjang. #koreanfood #porkbelly #bbq #grilling #webergrills #smokedmeat

A post by @crazykoreancooking on TikTok caption: This was Dad’s first time smoking pork belly. In Korea, it’s very rare to own a grill because most people live in high rise buildings. He’s been loving his new American life and eating grilled meat is one of his favorite things here. Thanks to @Webergrills Searwood XL 600 Wood Pellet Grill, he thoroughly enjoyed the process which was taking a nap most of the time 😂. The grill controls the temperature automatically and he could change all the settings on his phone while on his backyard bed. The pork belly was delicious and smoky. Doenjang (Korean fermented soybean paste) added a hint of deep umami flavor which went so well with the cherry wood flavor. Kimchi and soybean sprouts cooked in the pork fat elevated the whole thing to heavenly realm. #Webergrills #weber #webersearwood #searwood #pelletgrill #pelletsmoker #bbq #grilling #griddle #koreanfood #koreanrecipe #porkbelly #ad #KerationHairDay

A post by @crazykoreancooking on TikTok caption: We grilled Spanish mackerel, Bronzino, Mackerel, Hairtail from Jeju Isaland in Korea and Abalones for the 4th of July weekend. Mom made her special dipping sauce which really elevated the fish. Sister made doenjang jjigae. Grilled abalones were so good. (I’ve only tried raw or steamed and grilled ones were even better.) So grateful to be able to enjoy the weekend with the family and good food. #bbq #grilling #mukbang #foodreview #koreanfood #kdrama

A post by @crazykoreancooking on TikTok caption: Full Greece Vlog on YT. Iink in pr0flle. This was our first meal in Greece after 10 hour red eye flight to Greece. Mom and dad didn’t sleep on the plane because they were playing games. So they were very tired when we went for souvlaki. There was another supposedly best place called Kostas but the line was too long. We heard Street Souvlaki was just as good. Overall I think it’s hard to find bad restaurants in Greece. All the food we had was fresh and tasted wholesome and delicious. #greekfood #souvlaki #pita #athens #gyro #mukbang #foodreview #αθηνα #mediterranean

A post by @crazykoreancooking on TikTok caption: We had duck ross gui (오리 로스구이) for dinner because we wanted something quick and yummy. Whens Koreans say ‘Ross Gui,’ it refers to cutting meat very thinly and cooking (usually table cooking) without any seasoning (but dip in seasoning after cooking). Apparently the word ‘ross’ came from the English word, roast. ‘Gui’ means grilling in korean. This way of eating got popularized in the 70’s and still one of the most popular ways of eating meat in Korea. We eat like this everywhere, in restaurants, at home, on a picnic or camping trip. Every household in Korea owns a portable gas stove (which is for technically outdoor). #koreanbbq #duck #koreanfood #mukbang #kdrama

A post by @crazykoreancooking on TikTok caption: See how we made this in previous video. Mom and dad made kimchi cheese sausages. We ate them in scorched rice + sweet rice seaweed roll and also with regular buns. We dressed them with mustard or wasabi, pickled red onions, pickled jalapeños. They were all delicious! #kimchi #sausage #koreanfood #kdrama #mukbang #foodreview

A post by @crazykoreancooking on TikTok caption: Dad always LOVED sausages even when he lived in Korea. So he was super excited to make his own version, kimchi cheese sausage, for the first time. Thanks to @Webergrills Searwood Wood Pellet Grill, he was able to smoke the sausages while getting a massage 😂. Mom made scorched rice with a mix of rice and sweet rice on the griddle insert. Then, Dad finished the sausages by grilling it briefly to add a delicious char. The sausages were perfect with a flavor explosion of kimchi and cheese with a hint of apple wood and a spicy kick from chili peppers.  #Webergrills #weber #webersearwood #searwood #pelletgrill #pelletsmoker #bbq #grilling #griddle #koreanfood #koreanrecipe #kimchi #sausage #sausagerecipe #ad

A post by @crazykoreancooking on TikTok caption: My little niece brought dalgona and wanted to compete with mom and dad just like in @Netflix Squid Game. Dalgona is actually a very nostalgic snack and game for us Koreans. 40 years ago in Korea I remember paying 100 WON to a street vendor and they would give you sugar in a metal ladle. You squat in front of a little fire and melt the sugar and add baking soda and mix like crazy. Then the vendor ajuhssi throws it on a board and flatten it and use a cookie cutter like metal to put a shape in it. If you cut the shape out with a needle without breaking it, you get a prize candy. Oh how I miss those days! #dalgona #SquidGame #squidgamenetflix #koreanfood #kdrama
