⁣ ⁣ F R O Z E N 🍇 🧊 G R A P E S ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ My guest LOOOOVES purple!⁣ she came in today for the FULLLLL change up and we did the damn thing.⁣ ⁣ We lightened out her entire head using @pravana PURE LIGHT ULTRA LIGHTENER x 20 volume for a total of 45 mins and then washed and prepped her hair for a new overlay of vivids.⁣ ⁣ She did give me free reign of placement but we had to do something cool!⁣ I wanted to give her ALL the purples so I gave her 3 customized shades that we placed in what I like to say is similar to a balayage type placement. It’s a lightening booster/ lightening alternative BUT is typically recommended for hair levels 6 & above… because it exposes the underlying pigment of the hair you’re applying it on.⁣ At my clients natural level 4 (with lighter almost level 5 ends…) the underlying pigment would be orangey… gold… which is PERFECT for the color we were doing anyway!⁣ I UNFORTUNATELY got a little too distracted talking to her about life and catching up… that it flew over my head to record an application of the product, a processing or even a washing out.⁣ But it was definitely at least a very warm level 7 being that I utilized 𝟰𝟬 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗲 and did a foiled balayage effect on her and processed for the full 45 mins. ⁣ ⁣ I opted to use @PRAVANA 𝗵𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀 in 𝟱𝗥 for the deep red color we wanted but also because of the amount of shine we were gonna get as well!⁣ I wanted to give my client the best possible experience from natural to red as I could.⁣ We reshaped her cut a bit and we were done!
