7 months deep in the hood… the parent hood 🤙🏼 Just wanted to hit pause and share where I’m at with some real talk that might help someone out there today. When I say a child needs a strong father figure, I don’t mean it has to be the biological dad. It can be any consistent, loving male role model. But I truly believe more dads could step up — not just for their kids, but for their kids’ mum. That support matters more than you think… and your child feels it. Not every relationship makes it through this season — and sometimes, that’s for the best. But even if you’re not together, showing up for your child and respecting their mum still matters more than ever. It’s not all rainbows and butterflies. Some days are messy, some feel heavy — but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. And if you’re deep in the thick of it — don’t compare. We all go through our own storms. Having kids is the bomb 💣 and the growth it brings is next level.
