NEW DOG SPORTS I TRIED IN 2024! Altered Conformation: Courage got reserve BIS for UKC and BIS for IABCA Disc league: Maslow had his first disc league that he participated in. Courage recieved his Certifed Roller Dog title and his World Certified Roller Dog title Dock Diving: Both Maslow and Cruella were able to practice for dock diving. We hope to compete in summer 2025 AKC FastCat: Maslow competed for the first time this year and hes 15pts away from his BCAT UKC Dash and Steeplechase: Maslow competed in both sports. He earned his DASH and HOP title Weight Pull: All dogs have been training (even the new xolo puppy). Cruella earned her UWP and 5pts towards her champion. Maslow completed 2/3 of his necessary pulls for his UWP. Maslow, Cruella and Courage have a competition the end of the month! Keep in mind, this boy is 12” at the withers… This is the highest he’s gone on the wall. And if you watch closely or look at the slow motion, you can see he’s started using his back legs. Now that that has clicked in his brain, he’s only going to be getting higher. With this in mind, the higher he goes, the more of a physical and mental toll it’s going to take on him. Not only does he physically have to get up there, he has to have the confidence and the try to want to get up there. Because of this, instead of practicing every week, I’m reducing him to every other week and with less amount of climbs up the wall.
