It’s key to blending seamlessly with your project’s texture and color. 2️⃣ Mix with CLEAR Wood Glue: Combine the sawdust with a small amount of clear wood glue until it forms a thick paste. If you're planning to finish with Shellac, use Shellac instead of glue! 3️⃣ Fill and Smooth: Apply the mixture into the gaps or cracks, smooth it out, and let it dry. Sand it down afterward for a flawless finish. The result? Step 2: Use a Pre-Stain Wood Conditioner to prep your wood to accept stains as evenly as possible. If you're using a water-based stain, use a water-based pre-stain. Oil based stain? Use an oil-based pre-stain.  Step 3: Apply your favorite wood stain as the base color. Step 4: Work in white wax – Rub the wax into the grain to bring out the contrast and highlight the texture. Step 5: Buff it all out – Use a clean cloth to smooth out the wax and create a sleek finish. And there you have it!
