Magnus update! Sorry it’s been a few days, we have been waiting for additional test results to come back but as of right now, both Lymphoma and a thyroid tumor seem to be ruled out. We have talked with some friends who went through the same thing with their dogs and no one seems to know the cause. Our vet now thinks it may be an infection in his salivary gland, but the swelling is completely gone and he is back to his normal goofy self! If anyone has experienced this and it was diagnosed as something else, please let us know! His symptoms were: total exhaustion for 3ish days, a VERY swollen lymph node, inability to lift his head, shake his head, or fully yawn. He still ate and drank during this whole ordeal. Overall we’re just so glad that he’s back to acting like his usual goofy self! ❤️‍🩹🫶🏼
