8 months ago I didn’t know if I’d ever have the confidence to ride like I use to again after my accident, but after a LONG time and a lot of work, ups and many downs, on Thursday we ditched the saddle at the end of a great schooling session and had the most amazing canter - no saddle, no hands, (we never do this) we felt so free🤍 I trust this girl with my life, im so incredibly lucky🥰 We’ve still got a long way to go, me more than Misty but I’m finally seeing progress and more confidence than I had, all thanks to our amazing support at our yard, my amazing instructor and my Mum. Sadly on the 1st of July we’ll be parting with the yard i grew up on for 14years and moving closer to home, it wasn’t an easy decision but with Mistys new asthma diagnosis we need to be able to be there several times a day to manage it, plus facilities that will (hopefully) help Moo feel much better. We got lucky with this yard which is only 5 minutes from home, very emotional to have to leave my second home, extended family and my dear old Eric, but it’s best for my girl who comes first always. Will still see everyone and my boy at the weekends thank goodness but it wont ne the same. Hoping this move will take me and Misty that extra step into doing what we do best🤞🏻
