artist alley booth set-up!!! 🔨🔩🔨🔩 this is my east coast booth i do for all my east coast cons this is from Katsucon 2023. I get a lot of compliments on the structural stability and tallness of my booth, it’s all wood! (Except for the metal pipes that the hangers hang the clothes on) and you may be wondering how i made such an incredible structure, with its concrete bases, its puzzle piece joints, its bolts and nuts that let me take it apart and put it together under an hour. well i do have a degree in sculpture and was in charge of the metal and wood shops as the safety manager and—— my papa. my dad. i have a fabulously supportive amazing father who can still remember the anime i talked his ear off about in 2013 “the one with the giant people and they go for the back of the neck” (incredible one line synopsis of attack on titan) he reads every comment on every post, helps me set up every east coast con. Before i even started vending, he would help me build my cosplays, drive me to every convention, would drop me off food whenever and just be in the area of the convention if i needed to change cosplays, food, go back to the place we were staying for a nap.
