Forgive me as I toot my own horn for a moment, but I started The Chasing Health Podcast back in April 2021 and had no clue where it’d end up. There’s a stat out there that says that 90% of podcasts don’t make it past episode 3. We reached 50,000 downloads!!! We just released episode
#279 today, and we’re quickly approaching
#300 as we release 2 episode per week. I brought @Coach Chris on as a cohost in the middle of 2023 and this has to be one of my favorite parts of every week. We don’t run ads on the show, we don’t make any money off the show, we do this because it’s fun and we get to connect to more people… people who are crazy enough to listen to us cut up, laugh our asses off, and try to make the boring topics of fitness and nutrition fun. We don’t do any fancy editing, we don’t promote it nearly enough, but, you know… those who have found us there and the loyal listeners who continue to listen to every episode we drop make it all worth it. Not only has this been a fun way to connect with our listeners more, but we’ve also had the incredible opportunity to interview and talk with a lot of AMAZING people who have generously given up some of their time to be on the show. If you’re reading this and you’ve been on our show, THANK YOU!! And of course, thank you to the listeners who got this show to where it’s at. Chris and I continue to release episodes just for you, as you have no idea how much it fills up our cup when we hear about an episode you liked, we made you laugh listening to our banter, or you share it with someone. It’s so easy to get caught up in the analytics and compare our show to others. I see shows that came out last year, already putting up triple the numbers we have… but today, I’m silencing out those comparisons and celebrating the 50k downloads and 279 episodes we’ve worked so hard for!
