Here’s a look at what my 7-month-old’s wake windows usually look like. 🫶🏻 Depending on her mood and the time of day, they can be as short as 2 hours or stretch to over 3. This is what I typically try to do: • Start by feeding her • Have some playtime to work on new skills and practice independent play • Spend time outside for fresh air • Feed her solids (we are currently feeding her solids twice a day) • Read a few books together • Put her in her bouncer for about 10-15 minutes so I can get a few things done When she starts showing signs of being tired, I feed her again so she has a full belly before going down for a nap. Every wake window is a little different, but aim to do these things!
