This might be the weirdest Disney ride ever. And honestly… I’m kinda into it? Tokyo Disneyland’s 'it’s a small world with Groot' is a Marvel twist I did not see coming, but Disney just shared the first look at the ride, and… it’s actually adorable. Baby Groot is going on an international adventure, and you can see Captain America, Thor, Star-Lord, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and more in the iconic Mary Blair style. 🚨🐸 Muppet Courtyard Closing Dates at Disney World Disney just announced the closing dates for Muppet Courtyard at Hollywood Studios, and everything is shutting down much sooner than I had hoped. Here are the last days you can experience everything in the Muppet land: May 10th: Mama Melrose June 7th: Muppet Vision 3D & Pizzerizzo Starting June 8th, the entire land will be walled off as it’s transformed into a Monsters Inc land. The Muppets are still slated to replace Aerosmith at Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster sometime “soon,” although a specific date has not been announced. It’s not easy being green, unless you’re Mike Wazowski. That metaphor comes to mind because the latest news is about It’s Tough to Be A Bug, the slightly traumatizing 4D show at Animal Kingdom. Your last chance to see Flik, Hopper, and the rest of the insects will be March 16th. The show will close permanently on March 17th, in order to make way for a Zootopia show coming this winter. It’s tough to be a bug and to be a 3D movie at Disney World, because we also just found out about MuppetVision closing this June. So, maybe give us a little bit of a breather before announcing any more closures, Disney. While it’s tough to be a bug was never my favorite Disney World attraction, it definitely had its fans.
