These are some things I have learned or been reminded of in 2024 that I am taking with me throughout the rest of 2025: ✅ You will almost never change somebody’s mind unless you make them experience something for themselves with their own eyes (and likely have it right in front of them, not just on a phone). ✅ Everybody thinks they are the exception when it comes to their opinions. ✅ Putting pressure on somebody will have the opposite of fact that you were trying to do, and this is neuroscience. ✅ Sometimes the best thing you can do is LET THEM. Let them go, let IT go, or let them be. ✅ Arguing is not the same as debating, and if you think it is, please look at how you communicate. Also, arguing and debating never bring anything to the middle big or small in life. Discussion is not debating and debating is not arguing. 🙈🤷‍♂️ ✅ The best way to change minds is to live it and model it. #adhdt#adhdtherapistt#adhdthoughtofthedayg#thingstolivebyu#communicationskillsa#therapistsoftiktok❤️

I should also point out that I’m saying this as a therapist, not as an average person just on TikTok making their living. I know a lot of therapists that have used social media and have done questionable things to increase their money. I can honestly say that I can put my head down at night, knowing I did the right thing. I’m not into giving myself credit for stuff like this, but I do need to prop myself up for this thing because I said I would never take any deal unless it was really worth my money and time and it was beneficial to people with ADHD. #adhdtherapist #adhdbelike #adhdthoughtoftheday #adhdtherapy #adhd
