IVY ROADMAP STARTS EARLY: starting early is the best way to maximize your odds of being accepted to an Ivy League college. It lets you create a plan that incorporates the things you love while reducing stress and anxiety because you know that you’re on the right track. If you want to know exactly what you should be doing in each grade of high school to have the best odds of getting into an Ivy League college. Just search “Ivy Roadmap X Grade” I’ve already made videos with full plans for every grade of high school. #ivyleague #ivyroadmap #college #admissions #early
WHY 💰KIDS ACE THE SAT: the math track at most high schools in the US does not prepare you for Ivy League admissions. At most private high schools the standard math track has kids finishing algebra one before they start high school, this gives them a huge advantage on the SAT because they can start preparing at the end of 10th grade and don’t have to split their time between college admissions and preparing for the test. #ivyleague #ivyroadmap #college #admissions #sat #score #rich #math #algebra
IVY SUMMER SCAMS: Most Ivy summer programs are a pay for play scam- and many of them aren’t even affiliated with the colleges. Any program that enrolled thousands of students and charges you thousands of dollars we do nothing to improve your odds of admission to an Ivy League college. Instead, you should be spending your summer working on a unique passion project that you can use to showcase your talents that nobody else has.##ivyleague##ivyroadmap##college##admissions##Summer##summerprograms
SKIP AHEAD A YEAR IN MATH: You can’t start preparing for the SAT or PSAT until you have finished algebra 2, and the standard math track at most high school school doesn’t let you do that until the end of 11th grade, which is way too late. Instead, try to skip ahead a year in math so that you can finish algebra 2 by 10th grade or earlier. This will let you have ample time to prepare for the SAT and give you a good chance of performing well on the PSAT and winning the national merit scholarship competition which is worth over $20,000. #ivyleague #ivyroadmap #college #admissions #9thgrade #math #sat #skip #psat #nationalmerit
COLLEGES CANT CATCH AI🤖. Colleges, and even Ivy League schools, have no ability whatsoever to catch AI in your college essays. However, using AI as a replacement for Manual editing and writing WILL get you rejected, for lack of originality. Instead, you should use AI as a tool to help you get over writers block and see different versions of your essay, and make sure your manually editing in original pieces of writing so that your responses will stand out to Ivy League colleges. #ivyleague #ivyroadmap #college #admissions #essays #collegeessays #ai

ED2 IS TOXIC!!! One of the saddest things that I see in college admissions is when students will get deferred or rejected by a college that they would have loved to go to, and so they applied there during early decision, and then get so scared by that first rejection that they apply ED2 to a college that they really don’t even like that much. You never wanna make life or college admissions decisions out of fear. Only apply early decision to a college that you know 100% you would love to attend, and otherwise keep your options open by applying during regular decision because the ED2 boost in admissions is basically nonexistent. #ivyleague #ivyroadmap #college #admissions #earlyaction #earlgdecision #ed2

CC is the BEST way to transfer to an Ivy League College!!! I love my community college clients, because they are hard-working, ambitious talented students who are able to persevere even when parents and teachers sometimes aren’t there to help. They are exactly the kind of people who have the best odds in Ivy League admissions, and they are my favorite clients to work with. Credit to @David Ona for inspiring the intro here! ##ivyleague##ivyroadmap##college##admissions##communitycollege##transfer

Replying to @bob SAT/ACT Averages at Ivies are FAKE!!! Since test optional policies were introduced during Covid, the only people who reported their essay to your ACT score scores to Ivy League schools were the ones who scored really high on the exams, therefore the average is that these schools report of the SAT scores for the students they accepted, went much higher than they were previously. What this means is that the actual SAT or ACT score that you need to be competitive at Ivy colleges is significantly lower than the average would suggest. You can expect that now that a lot of Ivy League colleges are requiring the SAT and ACT again, the averages will magically drop 50 to 80 points. #ivyleague #ivyroadmap #college #admissions #testoptional #sat #satscore #act
Replying to @Michael ED2 IS A TRAP 🪤 there is no admissions advantage for applying to a college ED 2. The reason for this is because most of the applicant pool in ED 2, just got rejected from Ivy League schools that are significantly more selective than the ED two schools that they are currently applying to. Most of these kids are super smart and they are not the kind of people that you wanna be up against. For the most part, people are better off, waiting to apply during regular decision, if only to preserve your options. #ivyleague #ivyroadmap #college #admissions #ed2 #earlydecision
GREAT COLLEGE ESSAYS ARE MADE BY REAL PASSION PROJECTS. Unless you’ve committed yourself to some long-term projects where you try to solve problems that are super personal to you you’re gonna find that there isn’t that much of significance for you to write about in your college essays. If you want the best odds of getting into an Ivy League school, you should be doing a real passion project, solving a personal problem in a way that actually helps other people and uses your skills and talents to do it. #ivyleague #ivyroadmap #college #admissions #passionproject
BE CAREFUL ON SOCIAL MEDIA!!! Admissions officers aren’t doing some kind of FBI level deep background check when they’re deciding to accept you to an Ivy League college, but they will definitely Google your name and you wanna make sure that whatever pops up represents you in the best light possible. The Internet is forever, so you should be very careful what you post on social media and how you present yourself because it can keep you out of an Ivy League college. #ivyleague #ivyroadmap #college #admissions #socialmedia
Replying to @user5133341119400 TELL THE TRUTH (or be quiet about it) Ivy League colleges, and frankly any college, can and will rescind your acceptance if they find out that you lied about significant details in your college application. So, first off, always tell the truth, but if you are unsure about some details, please keep that to yourself and do not post about it on social media, you’re creating evidence that will be eventually used against you. #ivyleague #ivyroadmap #college #admissions #rescind #truth
MAKE THEM FEEL GOOD!!! The psychology of an Ivy League admissions officer is one of the most important factors to consider when crafting an application to get you into an Ivy League college. You need to connect your application to a larger goal that you could possibly accomplish. This way the admissions officers feel like they are partners in your mission, and they will go out of their way to advocate for you in a committee and get you accepted. #ivyleague #ivyroadmap #college #admissions #goal
GET YOUR BASICS RIGHT!!! When an Ivy League school says they review all of the applications “holistically” it doesn’t mean that they are going to waste their time on candidates who never had a shot of getting in to begin with. You need to make sure you meet the minimum standards on your GPA SAT and extracurriculars, so that the school will take your application seriously in the remainder of the admissions process. Once you meet those minimum standards, they will carefully review the details of your application, but you have to pass the filters first. #ivyleague #ivyroadmap #college #admissions #harvard #commonapp
IVY ROADMAP ORIGIN STORY: when I was 17, I turned down an Ivy League education and $300,000 of student loan debt, and use that same acceptance letter to negotiate a full tuition scholarship instead. When people saw that I had accomplished that, they wanted me to coach their kids and after years of successfully coaching clients into the Ivy League, I realize that the tactics that I was using were very different from what other advisors and coaches would suggest but far more effective. That’s what inspired the creation of this account, and what inspired me to write my book the Ivy League roadmap. Now I’m sharing all those same tactics with you! #ivyleague #ivyroadmap #college #admissions #scholarship

HIRE A COACH, NOT A REF. Most people think that the best person to give you advice on how to get into an Ivy League college is a former college admissions officer, but they are only the referees of college admissions. They can give you great opinions on completed applications, but they don’t have experience coaching people through the years before they apply to college. If you want to create the kind of profile that becomes an impressive Ivy League application you need a real coach who has spent years working with thousands of clients to get them into Ivy League colleges. #ivyleague #ivyroadmap #college #admissions
FOCUS ON WHAT MAKES YOU UNIQUE!!! There are 25,000 high schools in America so any accolade at the high school level, or any summer program that hundreds or thousands of students attend, is never going to be impressive to an Ivy League college. Instead, you spending your time focusing on activities and accolades that are creative - that way you’re the only person in the world doing it. Projects like this are the foundation of stunning essays and a strong application that will stand out to Ivy League colleges. #ivyleague #ivyroadmap #college #admissions #passionproject #math
