When I started with these symptoms and realized I would not be believed or properly guided ON TOP OF already fighting for proper treatment/attention for PMDD for decades… this is when it became emergent for me to remove my ovaries. My mindset around my PMDD and neurodivergence made me feel pretty faulty for a long time. I have about 2 people I talk to regularly (including my husband). After that, reaching out to people is a HUGE feat for me. And the worse part is, people think this means I don’t care for or love them. When really, everything is just SO overwhelming and communicating takes SUCH a big space in my brain. I just wish I had a way to explain it to everyone who enters my life. It’s been so hard to make friends, keep close with family, keep up relationships. I’ve even missed out on opportunities. I’ll take advice but I’m also understanding that this could just be harder because life is harder right now.
