For those that had followed AFT for a while, may know I had a health scare Father’s Day weekend 2023. It’s been roughly 18 months since that episode and thankfully, my PFO closure was completed in Oct 2023. Maintaining a work-life balance is essential when juggling family responsibilities, children, and the demands of a growing company. While the pressures of running a business and supporting loved ones can feel overwhelming, finding time for personal exercise is equally important. Regular physical activity not only improves overall health and energy levels but also helps reduce stress and improve focus, enabling better decision-making and resilience in both personal and professional life. I have grown to see that prioritizing exercise demonstrates a commitment to self-care, setting a positive example for employees and family members alike. Striking a balance between work, family, and personal well-being ensures long-term sustainability, fostering happiness and productivity in all areas of life. Thankful for all of those in our circle that continue to push each other daily and at age 44, feel that I am in the best shape of my life!
