Hi baby, Nani’s been sick for over a week. I’d been running a fever but Christmas Eve I had a very high fever. I think I was dreaming or maybe delirious but I saw you at the top of the strairs like you were getting ready to say “Nani I’m ready”. You did that every morning before I took you to school. I was so sick I coughed so hard I busted a blood vessel in my eye. I thought I was ready too, to be with you baby. But my fever broke and I’m getting better. When it’s my time we will talk all day long and take our car rides in heaven. Seeing you whether it was a dream or not gave me comfort. It’s tough when your sad baby but being sick makes it’s worse.
