My T-38 IP and I lost an engine in this same situation when a Red Tailed Hawk went down the right intake. Maintain pitch to climb but didn’t climb very fast. Accel to Single Engine Takeoff Speed ten knots above desired as the opening inboard gear doors created drag on the jet and we could feel it slow a bit. Maintain the flap setting because takeoff flaps was the best lift over drag configuration.
