1. Steak dinner is my fave dinner atm. Steak and red meat is high in iron and great for us girlys on or pre period. 2. Banana protein pancakes and let me tell you my recipe hits different so yummy and literally just banana protein powder and eggs... obv honey to drizzle on top. If you're trying to be quick you can also make in a bowl in the microwave but obviously not the same as an actual pancake. 3. Chicken sausage sweet potato mash and peas. This was actually a really yummy food prep for when I'm flying. as food can go dry in the ovens at 35,00 ft but this was a 10/10 winter warmer and deffo going to be a new go to. (I normally have a food obsession and have the same foods for like 6 months and then over do it and never eat them again lol) 4. Protein oats this is a massive staple in my diet I pretty much have every morning. Oats provide energy throughout the day and stop you feeling hungry and reaching for snacks. My protein oats recipe: Rolled oats Milk Chia seeds Banana protein powder (always mix the powder in after cooking the oats as it can go funny) Sometimes sunflower seeds Sprinkle of fruit and fibre bran flakes for a little crunch (and even more fibre) Kefir drizzle for gut health Peanut butter just a tspn as high in calories Honey for yummyness 5. Kefir!! I am the kefir queen and swear by this stuff.. high in protein and is amazing for gut health fully recommend especially for my bloated air hostess honeys. There's actually a story time behind this if you are interested.. 6. Turkey mince and peas a 5 minute high protein 0 effort jet lag girl dinner. 7. Food prep. I always use to eat pretty good at home but would never bring my own food when flying and would just eat the food onboard.. Aeroplane food is high in calories, salt, sugar and preservatives. I would land feeling tired, bloated, dehydrated, my skin was awful, 0 energy and basically a zombie. I decided to start bringing my own food when flying and avoid aeroplane food altogether.. I have honestly never felt better. Would recommend. 10. This one is for my air hostess'.. 35,000ft baked banana pudding.. if your like me and love a sweet treat in the sky especially when the rest of the crew are tucking into the leftover club cheeseboards, sticky toffee pudding or caramel chocolate bar.. then try this: 1 banana baked in the oven Vanilla yoghurt or kefir Nut and raisin mix from the tuck box Peanut butter tspn ofcourse Honey preferably but in this case I mixed the breakfast service marmalade with some hot water to drizzle ... delicious 😋 11. Red Thai turkey meat ball curry Turkey mince, coriander salt pepper rolled into meat balls and cooked in a pan Peppers Onion Red Thai paste Coconut milk Sticky rice Veggies for extra goodness 12. One thing about me.. I love an egg.. poached eggs on toast is probably one of my top 5 meals .. potentially my death row meal can't lie.. p.s sourdough is better than regular bread as it has a lower glycemic index, less gluten and better for your gut. 13. Sweet greens .. my one true love ❤️. When eating out / flying it's hard to know what to order but if in doubt I always try and go for a salad bowl or something high in protein and nutritional value. It is also important to remember to balance this with joy, happiness and memories which are not included in nutritional labels.
