Replying to @Avalanche Acres JRTs For anyone that is new to my page please remember that reality is not all rainbows and butterflies. I may post Nessie’s win but that doesn’t mean that the day was 100% amazing. It was also a tough day because I came to accept that even after so much work with Jovie she is not enjoying rally trials. My goals of having both dogs at rally trials is not attainable and it’s not fair to force Jovie to work through that when she’s uncomfortable. We will be aiming to get her advanced rally title through their virtual program as she still enjoys rally a lot - just not in trials. It doesn’t mean she’s a bad dog or that she’s not capable but it does mean I need to listen to her as her handler and advocate. That is partially why I cried after my run with Nessie because the journey with Jovie has been extremely hard. Just remember no one’s journey is perfect 🫶🏻 #akcsports #akcrally #akcrallyadvanced #listentoyourdog #toypoodlemix #virtualrally
