I just picked it back up yesterday with the cold temps and decided to finally finished it. It is made from sea otter, seal skin, moose hide ties and @bradorfabrics uluaq quilted material. I love hand sewing and whipping it up had me wanting to sew more. Sea otter fur is the best for liners. It’s so warm and soft. Maybe I will start making more for sell. Who knows we’ll see what my moods do 😂 Fun fact I made my first fur hat in maybe kindergarten or 1st grade with the help of my Yup’ik teachers Ayaprun, Mr. beaver, Mrs. Morgan and Miss Nellie. Waqaa all! I just wanted to share some updates if you have been following my page. I was shocked to hear that roughly 1035 eligible tribal members decide for 8000 enrolled tribal members. That was alarming and I will still be using my voice to push for all voters and for at least one at large seat if not two.
