Often referred to as the ULTIMATE bucket list hike… We can now officially confirm that The Wave is indeed extremely deserving of that title 😍 Only 64 people per day are granted permits to do this hike… making it possibly the most exclusive hike IN THE WORLD 🌎 48 permits are drawn each day in an online lottery for a date 4 months in advance. Only 16 permits are given out for the daily local lottery (2 days prior) where you have to physically be in the area to enter 🎟️ Words cannot describe how beautiful this area is! After spending an entire day out there trying to capture it properly we only hope that our content does this place the justice that it deserves 🫶🏼 Getting the email saying that we had won the lottery… truly felt like… well winning the lottery. Y’all! I don’t know why we did it, but we walked 14 miles across San Francisco doing the Double Crosstown trail ! We went from Lake Merced to the pier! Legs are shaking but we saw so much of the city so it was worth it! Looking for a dog friendly hike in a National Park that comes with some pretty incredible views??? We got you 👇🏼 Pa’rus Trail in Zion National Park 📍 Let’s face it… National Parks are well known for NOT being very dog friendly places 🐶 We’ve found some that actually are quite dog friendly (Such as Zion and The Grand Canyon) if you do a little digging. If your pup absolutely loves hiking like ours… there’s definitely some solid options out there like this one 🥾 This trail does take off from the Visitor Center as do most dog friendly National Park hikes but there’s absolutely no shortage of incredible views 😍 It’s a total of 3.5 miles out & back and it’s paved most of the way making it great for families, wheelchairs, or most anyone 👍🏼 Pro tip: Start out by grabbing a Coffee at @zioncanyoncoffee first (it’s walking distance) and finish by grabbing a beer at @Zion Brewery (also walking distance from the trailhead).
