I’ve been a double amputee for a year now and I’ve reflected a lot on many things. Sometimes it can be tough not to be angry or discouraged. Sometimes it’s even funny to me just because everything can be going right, and you can be doing everything right and then 💥 something out of nowhere changes everything and you’re just left wondering “why?”. I’ve had to develop radical acceptance through this journey. Being 25 years old, I’m mostly more afraid to waste my time feeling sorry for myself than I am to face these new set of challenges. I will live most of my life as a double amputee!
