Day 7 in Arizona was an adventure back in time at the @goldfieldghosttown 🏜️✨ 📍Located at 4650 N Mammoth Mine Rd, Apache Junction, AZ, this historic gem is open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is a must-see for anyone visiting the area. A Glimpse into History: Goldfield was a bustling mining town in the 1890s during the height of the gold rush. Today, it’s been brought back to life, giving visitors a chance to experience the charm and excitement of the Wild West era. Attractions Galore: - Mine Tours: Take a journey underground to see how miners worked back in the day. - Historic Buildings: Explore the town’s original structures, from the saloon to the general store. - Live Gunfights: Action-packed reenactments that transport you to the Wild West. - Superstition Zipline: A thrilling ride with amazing views of the Superstition Mountains. Culinary Delights: We made a pit stop at the Coffee Cantina & Bakery, where we found delicious cappuccinos, pastries, and even gluten-free options. The gift shop was another favorite, offering Prickly Pear fudge and other house-made confections that were absolutely ono! Visitor Info: - Admission: Free to enter, with individual attractions priced separately. - Parking: Plenty of free parking on-site. Walking through the town, exploring the attractions, and enjoying the treats made us feel like we’d stepped right into the Wild West. The kids had a blast, and Braddah C and I couldn’t get enough of the fudge! If you’re in Arizona, this spot is a total gem—fun, educational, and perfect for families!
