Whenever I use torque sticks, my comment section is full of hate for them; mostly with comments saying how they either "don't work", or are "a waste of time". I argue that they actually SAVE you time, because they allow you to use power tools to tighten your lug nuts quickly - without over tightening them - before you lower the vehicle and hand-torque the wheels. I highly recommend these for all new techs OR for when you purchase a new tool you are unfamiliar with, or switch air compressors. I have had this impact for over a decade, and I've been in this shop with the same consistent air supply pressure for over 2 years, so truth be told, I know my tool well enough to know how to quickly install my wheel nuts or bolts below torque spec by now, so at this point I have outgrown these. I'm sure many seasoned techs can relate to this. But when you're first starting out, or you're making a change, this tool can save you a ton of time and hassle, and prevent damage to customer cars. This is a small snippet from the video I dropped this morning, YouTube.com/FayeHadley!!
