@bmorechristmas is always a ton of fun 🫶 Their team was kind enough to give me and @urnovafoodie a tour, and we had an absolute blast. Def make sure you guys go if you haven’t yet. There are SO many amazing vendors there, and the food’s seriously fantastic 🤤 Here are 5️⃣ must try eats/drinks if you guys go: 1️⃣Italian Prosciutto Raclette Sandwich ($16): SO good. I will never NOT get raclette if I see it. This is a def must when you go, but some people don’t like the smell of it. It’s pungent for sure, but it’s really yummy IMO! It’s slightly sweet and nutty + so good with the prosciutto & other toppings 🧀 2️⃣White Russian Dream ($15): freshly brewed coffee with Kahlua and vodka, topped with whipped cream and sprinkles. They have a bunch of cold + hot cocktails to choose from so make sure you stop by! I liked my bevy overall - I’m a sucker for coffee drinks, and I liked that this wasn’t overly sweet. 3️⃣Hot Chocolate DELUXE with whipped cream and marshmallows ($10): there’s nothing better than hot chocolate on a cold day! Pricing varies depending on the cup you get - the boot mug is a bit more expensive, but both cups are must haves IMO, lol. They’re so cute! Refills are also available for purchase as well. 4️⃣ @jdshouseofbacon ($6): WOW this was goooood. This was my first time trying his bacon skewers, and they were next level. I got vanilla bourbon, but he has 5 other flavors available as well + hot sauces for sale. 5️⃣ @deddles_donuts Apple Cider Mini Donuts: this was RIDICULOUSLY good! Some of you have recommended Deddle’s to me, and now I see why. I was blown away by these donuts, and I can’t wait to visit them at Lexington Market. These apple cider donuts were unbelievable - so light and so fluffy. You gotta try these made-to-order noms. @Bobapop Tea Bar DMV is now open‼️ This was actually my first time visiting one - they have a VERY large menu, and I like that there are options for everyone. I got two drinks for myself that day and thought both were solid: ▪️Ali Mountain: apparently, this is a pretty sought-after Taiwanese oolong tea. I got mine with milk tea and added boba! I got 30% sugar, but that was still too sweet for me - I’d probably go with 0% next time because the boba themselves are sweet. ▪️Brown Sugar Black Milk Tea: this is their most popular drink! I also got this with milk tea + egg pudding. It was my first time having that topping, and I really enjoyed it. They have TONS of toppings to choose from though. Next time I want to get their popballs - that’s usually my go-to because of the texture, lol. This was also too sweet for me, but to be fair, brown sugar black milk tea’s usually a sweet drink! Personally, I’d stick to their signature teas. Additional Notes 📝 ▪️They source local ingredients whenever possible ▪️They use industry-leading filtered water for they beverages ▪️They have caffeine, lactose, and gluten free options available so there’s something for everyone ▪️They have several locations in the area (this is their 6th spot), and they were founded by 2 Gaithersburg natives 🫶 They’re offering 20% off during their soft opening so make sure you go and take advantage of this deal while it’s still available.
