Been doin a wholeeee lot of this recently in audition rooms. As a voice technician, working on Carole is hard because I struggle to toe the line between imitation and bringing myself to the role. How MUCH of that thin-cords, how much of the rasp at the top, how much of the slight accent, how much of the straight tone, etc, etc, etc. Been working to find something in between.
