In April of 2018 when I was newly pregnant I had put this in my notes app, “if my baby does have alopecia, they will never be alone. they have me.” It’s now been six years of doing my son’s hair. Six years of reminding myself that alopecia is a blessing and not something to be feared but to embrace.
