SO many of my clients struggle with drainage dysfunction. Drainage pathways refer to all symtoms designed to eliminate toxins, which includes your colon, liver, kidneys, lymphatic system and skin. When there pathways are clogged, dysfunction occurs. Think of your gut like the pipes in your house. If your pipes don't get completely emptied, all of the gunk from your toilets, sinks and showers will build up and fester. Over time it may completely clog, leak, or even burst. It will breed more pathogens in the toxic sludge. Sewer gas can leak into your home and cause more issues. That's the same thing that happens when you are backed up. How do you know if you have drainage issues? Here are some common symptoms: -Constipation (pooping one or fewer times daily) -Feeling that bowels do not empty completely -Chronic fatigue -Mood problems like anxiety, depression or bipolar disorder -Poor brain cognition/brain fog -Edema, swelling or retain extra fluids -Skin problems like rashes, itches, hives, eczema or acne -Skin doesn't sweat -Puffy eyes -Swollen glands Bottom line - if you aren't going to the bathroom regularly, you're creating a breeding ground for pathogens.
