Our home made it through the Sunset Fire in the Hollywood Hills, but the scene is surreal. That isn’t a sunrise—it’s Los Angeles burning in the distance from our backyard. The air is still heavy with lingering smoke—just stepping outside is enough to make you cough. We’re feeling deeply traumatized, utterly devastated, and completely exhausted. My wife was a true superhero, saving my songbooks and the Animal House guitar in the chaos. Thank you @Liz The Music Manager We’re now taking serious precautions in case we face another night like the last. My heart aches for the residents of Malibu and the Palisades; the destruction is apocalyptic. I’ve never seen fires of this magnitude—it’s beyond anything I could have imagined. Prayers for everyone affected, and we’re far from being out of the woods yet. Thank you to everyone who reached out and kept us in your prayers. We love and appreciate you all. Also, thank you to all the firefighters and police officers, who fought tirelessly through the night to protect our city. They are the true heroes of our time.
