This is mostly an annoyed "I have a headache" #rant . So, feel free to scroll past. But, the #republicanmakeup vs #liberalmakeup thing happening right now made me have a revelation and now I am annoyed..... Ultimately, it's not a big deal compared to everything else. But, I always wondered why I could only ever find WARM shades unless I specifically went out of my way to go to a specialty store. This is why. Y'all are onto something with this... Like, I always wondered WHY (in regards to the makeup struggles), I felt my experience lined up more in line with Black makeup users at times and this #trend sheds some light on the reasoning why that has been the case. Like, holy cow. This actually explains why I can almost never find cool or even neutral tones for foundation. Even in the "lightest" shade they have. I usually have to default to a more translucent base instead. And obviously, this is more of an #annoyance than anything else.
