2-Min Devo on John 6:10-13 📖 “When they had all had enough to eat, He said to His disciples, ‘Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.’” (John 6:12). This verse reminds us that NOTHING in our lives is wasted by God. Every tear, He holds in a bottle (Psalm 56:8). He turns our messes into messages (Romans 8:28) and strengthens us through trials (James 1:2-4). Reflective Questions: 1. What area of your life are you struggling to trust God with? 2. What are you believing about His character in this season? 3. Reflect on a hard season. How did God use it for good? (If He was faithful then, He will be faithful now). 4. What is one characteristic of God you can cling to today to remind you He LOVES you and is FOR you? The goal isn’t to change your circumstances but to trust the One who reigns above them. If it’s not good, He’s not done yet. He won’t waste your pain—He turns ashes into beauty (Isaiah 61:3). Action Steps: 1. Confess: “Lord, this is where I don’t trust You.” (James 5:16). 2. Turn Away: Leave people and spaces that don’t point you to truth. 3. Take Thoughts Captive: Replace lies with the truth of the Gospel (2 Cor 10:5). 4. Renew Your Mind: Focus on what is TRUE and PRAISEWORTHY (Philippians 4:8; Romans 12:2). Prayer: “Lord, show me where I don’t trust You. Help me cling to Your character, not my circumstances. Remind me of Your faithfulness and strengthen my trust in this season. Forgive me for doubting You, and renew my mind to believe You waste nothing. Amen.” “For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” (2 Cor 4:17-18)
