2024 is a wrap🎬 Managed some really cool stuff this year. Competed in my first IFBB pro season and made 2 top 5 finishes. I would have never thought I would get 1 point from the Olympia so quickly. From 2023 NPC NA's to 2024 IFBB Ben Weider Natural Pro -- 14ish months. However, I've only been on stage 5x ever - so there's still details that need work and will improve with the more I get on stage. In short: NPC North Americans - core control, slower routine, denser/larger lower body, stage presence IFBB Pittsburgh Pro - core control, conditioning, lower body size IFBB Ben Weider - CORE CONTROL*, glute density, cleaner stage presence (Notice the theme here lol) .... IMO Pittsburgh was my best presentation but the weider was my best physique. I immediately lost my confidence at the weider when I slipped at the beginning of my individual and dropped my core - u can clearly see that in my face. Although I've sat in the disappointment over my stage presence at the wieder and missing the Olympia by 1 point.. I am eager to make the necessary improvements this offseason and redeem myself next year👀. I'll be back out there after we grow and rebalance life a bit, absolutely nowhere near finished yet. No solid competing plans for 2025 yet. 2024: The Year God Changed Everything This was the year I truly fell to my knees, surrendering my wildest dreams at the feet of God. With a heart full of tears and faith hanging by a thread, I prayed like never before, ready to walk away from it all. My big dreams felt out of reach, slipping through my hands, and I was ready to give up. But God. In the darkest moment, He picked me up, held me close, and reminded me that He’s never finished with His work. Surrounded by friends and family who stopped everything to pray and support me, I watched in awe as God did what only He could. Orders for @whiskeestraw came flooding in. Opportunities I never imagined began to unfold. I met someone I’ve admired for years (@iamtabithabrown), appeared on a show on @amazonprime, and even won $20,000. I saw Whiskee Straw featured on Fox and Friends with the incredible @chipwade. At times, the doubts and opinions of others felt like waves pulling me under, but God’s hand lifted me out every time. This year wasn’t about my plans—it was about God’s faithfulness. He took my tears, my fears, and my surrender, and turned them into a testimony of His power and goodness. I could never have dreamed this for myself, but God saw it all along. I don’t know what 2025 holds, but I know who holds 2025. Whatever God has planned, it’s far better than anything I could ever imagine. I’m here, ready, and trusting Him completely for what’s to come.
