Posterior
#baby is a baby navigating the pathway of the pelvis looking towards the pubic bone. Most babies will rotate during labor to the anterior side of mom’s body to be born facing the sacrum. Very few babies need to be born in a posterior position. Posterior babies may or may not cause back discomfort, contractions come in twos, dilation progress can be very slow, constant pressure on the bladder and instinctively you want to thrust your hips forward to arch your back to create space for the baby to descend in the pelvis. Posterior babies can be born vaginally. Maybe more intense labor and slower progression but it can happen with your willingness, determination and patience from your
#birth team.
#TrainforBirth workshop helps prepare the body to encourage baby to navigate the pathway in a good
#birthing position. Learn how to get your body ready to birth👉🏼trainforbirth.com
