2024 was the hardest year we’ve ever had. I’ve never been a “new year new me” type of person but I’d be lying if I wasn’t ready to have a fresh calendar. Losing Doc almost made me hate raccoon hunting. There’s still such a huge void left without him. He was such a great dog. Riot was such a special dog. So pure it was almost unbelievable. That type of love can only be explained as a gift directly from God. He was such a special dog & made such an impact on me as a person & dog trainer / handler. As much pain as we felt this year it still does not justify quitting. It’s unfair to the dogs we still have to give up when none of them have ever given up on us. Sally is coming on strong as well as a few others. The bird dogs killed it this year in the north woods & are gearing up for an even more successful season next year. Thank you all for always being here supporting us through this wild journey. This was filmed back on August 8th. I forgot to post it but mentioning Hank in yesterday video reminded me. Hank is a very good boy. He’s super smart super sweet & hasn’t shown any signs of aggression. I take his food from him all the time & he just waits for it back. Hank will be available soon for rehoming to the right home.
