Another black on black leather E53 hit the junkyard so I stripped its door panels and some other parts. I’ll be using these in conjunction with the f85 x5m seats. The headliner and panels have been recovered in black Alcantara. There’s more wiring to be done on the seats but finally on the right path. On today’s tech with tony, i replace the rear pads and rotors on this g12 bmw 740i xdrive. This process will be identical for most all new bmws with electric parking brakes. This particular chassis didnt like to go into workshop mode, so i used the xtool ip900 to force service mode through another means. This system uses a separated cooling circuit with a water pump, radiator, and reservoir. This also allows the use of cooling the liquid with the a/c heat exchanger. The housing was the OE unit with 190k miles and had been losing coolant quickly. The reservoir also had a minor crack in it. Not too terrible of a job to do.
