Have you watched this new @Netflix documentary about the multimillionaire Bryan Johnson? What are your thoughts? Even though his routines are unattainable for most of us, the basics of a healthy lifestyle are still there. I liked that his millions and millions of dollars invested into finding the perfect nutrition led him to a plant based, whole food diet. As he says “every calorie had to fight for its life”. It’s well known that a plant-based whole-food diet is the most nutrient dense dietary pattern out there. Fantastic way to eat to preserve health, reverse metabolic disease, and live a long life free of disease. I personally liked that his quest to find the “perfect nutrition” transcends conspiracy theories, big pharma, big food, industry-paid studies, etc. He’s simply invested millions $$$ to find the best scientists around the world that can point him towards the best way of eating for optimal human health. Again, trying to live such a perfect lifestyle is impractical and likely not necessary to achieve great health but it was a thought provoking documentary nonetheless.
