#blwfood celebrates baby-led weaning, encouraging parents to offer solid foods to infants. It promotes diverse, nutritious meals, fostering independence, exploration, and positive mealtime experiences for babies and their families.
Here are some of my favorite food options to have on hand for baby-led weaning. Obviously I don’t have all of these on hand at one given time but these are some staples that I rotate through to prepare balanced meal options for baby! These foods are generally low in sodium, no added sugar, and contain beneficial nutrients that babies need for optimal growth and development (like iron, zinc, protein, B12, fat, and omega-3’s).
