I would like to say ONCE AGAIN…I DO understand why other ppl liked the book. These are just things that I don’t like. In all fairness, I like tense, drawn out plots that build suspense. Instant gratification in books bore me. So it made sense to me why I didn’t like Immortal Dark. Also, this was a Romantasy that I was trying to read like a dark academia fantasy. I had higher expectations than I should have had. I still don’t think this book was terrible, it just wasn’t for me. And lastly, I am the kind of reader that trips over plot holes 🕳️🕳️👀 this book was Swiss cheese (specifically with the character development) and once I noticed I really couldn’t look away. So if you enjoyed it then I think that’s great (reading is meant to be enjoyed) However, I didn’t.
