My cousins just opened a Szechuan restaurant in Brooklyn! 🥢🔥 My cousin is about to give birth AND they just launched in the same week - talk about a power move. They’ve been working on this for over a year, and it’s finally here! I got to do a menu tasting, and let me tell you, everything was 🔥 but my faves were: 🍆 Fried eggplant in a sweet & spicy glaze 🍞 Airy tofu bites with spicy mayo 🥕 Pickled white carrot (never had this before but SO good!) For entrées, they’ve got all the Sichuan staples like Kung Pao Chicken, Spicy Fish Fillet, and Mapo Tofu. The head chef has worked at some of the best Sichuan spots in NYC, so you already know it’s legit. They are doing their soft opening now so any feedback is welcome and appreciated.
