Are you ready to learn countdown to the new year in BSL (British Sign Language) ? πŸ€©πŸ”’πŸŽ‡ Video description:The image shows a black man wearing a black beanie and a black shirt. He is using British Sign Language. Behind them, a large screen displays the words "HAPPY NEW YEAR" in bright yellow text, with fireworks in the background. At the top of the image, a text overlay reads, "Ready to count down to midnight for New Year?" The setting appears festive, celebrating the approach of the new year. #BSL #BritishSignLanguage #UK #DeafUk #Lingvano #NewYear #SignLanguage
WHY is it like this? Because sign languages develop naturally in individual regions, just like spoken languages do. Establishing one universal sign language would be just as difficult and inconvenient as establishing one universal spoken language. If you want to learn sign language, learn whichever one is used in your area. I have some ASL resources pinned on my page. Video description: Ceres is a white teenager wearing a green shirt. They are acting tragically distraught while using a time glitch effect to make the video speed up and slow down in more dramatic intervals. The text says: The average persons reaction to finding out there isn’t one universal sign language but, in fact, a different one for each country. The audio says: Guttural shock and abandonment. Fear. Anxiety. Misery. Gut wrenching. End video description. #SignLanguage #UniversalSignLanguage #ASL #AmericanSignLanguage #Ausland #BSL #BritishSignLanguage #Deaf #LearnSignLanguage
