Looking for the best burger in California? I found it. Hidden in Felton, an adorable mountain town in the Santa Cruz Mountains, is The Emerald Mallard. The interior has coolest decor, almost like a trendy hunting lodge with taxidermy, flowers and the best green paint that reminds me of @whimsy_homes, so of course I'm a fan. And, they make some DANG good food. Especially burgers. I would drive back down for another smash burger here.
