Triple B’s baby! She’s bitter, she’s bright, she’s botanical! She also has one of my favorite things: fennel and cara cara oranges 🍊 • ¾ oz fennel syrup • ¾ oz lime juice • 1½ oz fresh cara cara orange juice • 1½ oz pathfinder spirit (or any bitter n/a amaro) • garnish: fennel fronds + orange slice To make the fennel syrup, add 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of water, a small bunch of fennel fronds, and 1 tbsp of fennel seeds. Heat to medium low, allow sugar to dissolve, cool to room temperature, and strain into an airtight jar. Store in the refrigerator. To make the cocktail, add the syrup, lime juice, orange juice, and amaro into a cocktail shake with ice and shake until chilled. Strain into your glass of choice over fresh ice. Garnish with an orange slice and some fennel fronds. Optional: add a touch of sparkling water to make it bubbly! • • •
