If you're looking for the best overall pick for San Diego Restaurant Week (January 26-February 2) this is the place to be, as you'll experience an upscale luxury meal that utilizes fresh, seasonal ingredients for an incredible price that you'll only be able to take advantage of right now ($35 per person at lunch and $55 per person at dinner). If we're being completely honest, I am super picky about San Diego Restaurant Week as I don't typically go for the pre-fixe dining style, but I trust Chef here SO much and he absolutely delivered, because the menu options were top-tier. Luckily, Jonathan and I just planned to order all the options and share so we could get a full taste, and provide a full review for all of you. ☺️ dinner included the three below courses: First Course: Roasted Red Beet Salad (plant-based & v) OR Sunchoke Soup (gf & v) Second Course: Arctic Char (gf), Beef Brisket (gf) OR Sage Chickpea Fritter (gf & plant-based) Third Course: Meyer Lemon Goat Cheese Tart OR Dark Chocolate Honey Mustard Torte Overall, it was a spectacular meal and we are always blown away by their ability to utilize fresh, seasonal ingredients that create these unique and flavorful bites that I wouldn't normally find on other menus. I also just appreciate the fact that it is an opportunity for me to enjoy such a luxuruous meal at half the cost - it was a win win date night.
